Hair Fashion: All the trends not to be missed this year

By now the year has changed, it is therefore right to discover all the new hair trends 2015 of hairdressers, the cuts and hairstyles that will go out of fashion between now and the next months, strictly divided by the various preferences that every woman can have, short, long or medium hair , move, curly or super smooth. There will be news both in terms of hairdressers, and for colors and, also, for the types of hairstyles to show off in everyday life or special occasions. If anyone was afraid that short hair would go out of fashion in 2015, let's say it can be absolutely quiet! The boyish cuts, a real must for some seasons, are not destined to disappear, indeed, more and more women will choose them dragged even by the wave of celebrities who opt for super short helmets, maybe with asymmetrical tufts, original pixie, ad hoc shavings for a short film inspired by punk rock... The vintage style will also have its own space and will be characterized by short and super smooth cuts, with tufts of waves on the forehead. All these hairstyles, not being able to be styled with real crops, will be enhanced by hair accessories, headbands and precious circles in the first place. As for the average cuts the undisputed king of 2015 will be the long bob. To put it mildly, the historic cut that made Jennifer Aniston famous in Friends, only that those were the 90s and now the 2000s has gone from a piece and a hairstyle of this kind is enriched by new ideas such as: asymmetries in the tufts to hide part and give a sexy and mysterious look, ad hoc scales that give overall volume to the hairstyle, natural choppy effect to be enhanced with semi-collections that leave some strands to frame the face. Long hair, in 2015, will mean a few half measures. Just make a choice between the smooth, super smooth, or the choppy, preferably natural, and you will still fall to your feet. In the sense that both trends will be respected, of course. As for the smooth we will still see the symmetrical fringe, or the voluminous and scaled tufts as for the medium cuts, instead, with regard to the move, instead, the effect will have to be beach waves, that is, as natural as possible, perhaps enhanced by effects of shatush or splashlight. Among the classic hairstyles the braids will still be the protagonists, but, instead of the lateral ones that have characterized the last seasons, we will see them preferably double and symmetrical, a Pippi modern and not too childish!
HOB Salons has been named as Best Salon Group at the Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s Luncheon & Award 2019, beating the best of business in the hairdressing industry.
Directors Akin Konizi, Clive Collins and Paul Simbler collected the award in front of their peers at a glittering lunch at the Intercontinental Hotel in London’s Park Lane. HOB Academy head of education, Jake Unger, also picked up the award for Snapshot Image of the Year with a beautiful copper style.
HOB Salons, which has some 25salons and employs more than 480 team members, celebrated its 35th anniversary last year and adds these trophies to their collection of 60 other creative, business and international awards.
Akin said: “We are delighted to win the Salon Group award, which is for everyone that works for HOB Salons. We have some amazing people within the company and we are very proud they have been recognised for the work they do.”
Sally Brooks has been named Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year 2019 at a glittering lunch in London.
The Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s Luncheon & Awards was held at the Intercontinental Hotel on Park Lane and recognises the best of British hairdressers, who work tirelessly for the industry both creatively and in business.
Amongst a host of awards presented by President Ken Picton and Chancellor Ashleigh Hodges, was the ultimate accolade, Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year.
Sally, owner of Brooks & Brookssalon in Holborn, London, with Jamie Brooks, has won some 60awards with her creative team including London Hairdresser of the Year three times and British Hairdresser of the Year 2017 and 2018. Sally collected her award to raptuous applause from the audience who included her friend and mentor, Trevor Sorbie.
“This is such a surprise but I’m delighted to be named Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year. It’s been an incredibly busy year which has included producing and directing my documentary, The Journey to My Destination. I have a lot of things planned for the industry in 2020 so watch this space!”
